JEFF The Brotherhood just made their upcoming album, Global Chakra Rhythms, available for streaming before it’s official release on November 13th. Global Chakra Rhythms is a crazy listen that’s almost nothing like their last record, Wasted on the Dream. Global Chakra Rhythms sounds like the band locked themselves in a room with a ton of weed, hit record and jammed their asses off all night long. And I mean this is in the best way possible. This is an album that’s meant to be listened to at high volumes. Go for a walk around town with your ear buds in or put this on for a long night drive somewhere and space out. This album requires time and an open mind. There’s a reason the preorder (which is now sold out) came with a meditation kit that included incense, a gold-dipped candle, two JEFF The Brotherhood meditation cards, and tea.

You may have noticed that we’ve been real quiet around the Cathouse lately and we can finally tell you why… we’re very excited to announce Global Chakra Rhythms, the tenth album from JEFF The Brotherhood, out November 13th! Global Chakra Rhythms is a psychedelic trip that recalls their more experimental pieces from The Boys R Back In Town and Rafiki’s Vision, bringing free saxophones, organs, pedal steel guitar, ghostly background vocals, and unidentifiable yet familiar textures into the mix, summoned by the beat of Jamin’s drum and shephereded by Jake’s words and guitar. Recorded under mysterious circumstances, it features current JEFF touring shredders Kunal Prakash and Chet Jameson, but also fellow Nashvillians Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather), Reece Lazarus (Bully), Jessica Mcfarland (Heavy Cream, Savoy Motel), Luke Schneider (Natural Child, Promised Land Sound), Christina Norwood (D. Watusi), label-and-tourmates Music Band, and more.
