Before Mac DeMarco was an international music super hero he was putting out music under the name Makeout Videotape with Alex Calder. It’s a must-hear collection of lo-fi songs that true fans of Mac DeMarco will love. Luckily, it’s all still available on the Makeout Videotape Bandcamp page. One of the many standout tracks off the album Ying Yang is called ‘Future Boy’, which showcases his skillful guitar playing and is foreshadowing to what we would come to know as the Mac DeMarco sound.
